Maxco is pleased to announce that Martin F. Menz has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
Mr. Menz is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California and has over twenty-five years of experience in finance and accounting. Mr. Menz is also a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Treasury Professional. Mr. Menz joined the Company from Payroll People, Inc., California’s largest independent payroll and human resource management services company, where he had been the Chief Financial Officer since 2007. Prior thereto Mr. Menz held finance and accounting positions in manufacturing companies, including serving as Financial Controller of PELCO by Schneider Electric, a $570 million manufacturer of security cameras and surveillance systems, Controller of FMC Technologies – Food Processing Systems Division, a division of a NYSE traded company and manufacturer of food sterilization equipment, and Cost Accounting Manager at Fujitsu, Inc., a multi-billion dollar manufacturer of computer systems and equipment. Beyond his manufacturing company experience, Mr. Menz enjoyed progressive responsibilities in the banking and consumer products industries with Chase Manhattan Bank, PepsiCo, and E&J Gallo Winery. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a B.S. in Accounting and earned his MBA from the University of the Pacific.
